Cromwell's Safehouse

Mr. Mortimer Cromwell is the town’s wealthy man. Always driving the nicest cars, wearing the fanciest clothing, and having such a large estate about an hour outside of town. He is one of the biggest conspiracy theories of the town, ranging anywhere from being in the witness protection program, to being a CEO of a company. Either way Mr. Cromwell refuses to admit where his wealth comes from. The conspiracy that you believe most is that he is an ex-con that’s gotten away with several crimes. One being a large robbery that possessed him most of his luxury items that he puts on display. It is rumored that he has a safehouse in town, but anytime he’s asked about having a resident closer to town than his estate he always says, “Now why would I want to live anywhere other than my beautiful estate?” Which you don’t buy, you’ve been following him around for months, gathering evidence to answer these questions. You think you’ve tracked down his safehouse. There is a luxury apartment building he goes into and stays in for hours, sometimes even overnight. Now you know it could just be an affair, but you can’t help but wonder what’s really going on in there. Luckily for you, you have a friend that lives in this very apartment building, so you’re easily able to get in the building. So, one day you wait outside for him to show up, and you fake a phone call with your friend saying, “you just got there and are headed up now.” You ride up the elevator with Mr. Cromwell, taking note of which floor he goes to, picking the one right under his, you get off and run for the stairs. You poke your head out into the hallway carefully so that he doesn’t see you and watch for which door he goes into. Now that you have this information, you head home to create your plan of action. You hear of a party happening at the Cromwell estate coming up in a few nights. You plan on infiltrating his safehouse then. Not only do you hope to find answers regarding Mr. Cromwell, but it’s also rumored that some of his money and items he’s stolen over the years are kept there. It probably sounds wrong to steal from him, but he’s the one who stole it first, you’re just his bad karma. When you enter the apartment, you notice something off, it is significantly smaller than the apartment your friend owns. You know that there’s different floor plans for certain apartments, but you weren’t expecting a wealthy man to pick such a small apartment. With the door shutting behind you, there’s an unexpected alarm that’s tripped. You’re given a message over an intercom system from Mr. Cromwell stating that he has been notified and will be there in an hour. Unbeknownst to you, he loves to play games with his intruders, and during this hour you have a chance to escape. There are a series of puzzles around his apartment that will reveal the way out, and possibly the chance to take some money and items. Can you solve the clues before he gets there?
